I am deeply honored and blessed to have the opportunity to serve as Parish Council President for what I hope will be a year of healing and growth. I have served for many years as secretary of the parish council, and aspired to become president to enhance my own stewardship as well as my personal and spiritual growth, while hoping to make a difference in our community. I appreciate all of the support I have received so far, and will approach this office the same way I approach the chalice each week, with the fear of God, with faith, and with love.
The passion, energy, and talent of this year’s Parish Council is sure to energize the entire community within a very short time.
We face many challenges this year with tremendous opportunity for improvement.
Over the next two weeks, we will be re-aligning the PC member roles as liaisons to the various church committees. As we stretch ourselves beyond our own comfort zones, I challenge everyone to stretch beyond yours to participate and lead the many committees required to grow our church.
I look forward to working with you all to heal and grow this wonderful community.
